Carl Amoscato | Freelance Film & Video Editor | London, UK

I've been an editor for 20 years, and have worked on a wide variety of broadcast and independent projects.
My professional experience includes editing for The CBS Evening News, CBS Mornings, and Face the Nation on CBS, The Listening Post on Al Jazeera, Good Morning America on ABC, and Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN2, as well as editing for Sky Sports, A&E, and The History Channel.
Also, I was in charge of running a production studio and master control room on a 2,600 passenger cruise ship for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, cutting 25 news packages in 2 days with six producers breathing down my neck while maintaining a (relatively) pleasant attitude, producing top secret videos for the US Army (it wasn't as interesting as it sounds), and commanding a 40-person Combat Camera unit for the US Air Force.
I have extensive experience with Avid Media Composer including Symphony color correction, and have worked both stand alone and in shared systems using NEXIS and Interplay.
My strengths are creativity, speed, and accuracy. One of my producers said she thought the volume of work I got through in a given time period was "incredible," and another once told me he liked working with me because "I know I don't have to double-check everything to make sure you got it right." I take pride in being fast and good.
My goal is to continue working on interesting projects with fun, talented people.
